HOTEL BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS / CONDITIONS

Every effort has been made by the Company, EURORESORT INV.LTD to describe the Accommodation correctly on WWW.MALTAHOTEL.NET, with enough detail & clarity to enable the interested party to make an informed choice / decision about the preferred type of accommodation for the intended Visit to Malta.

Similarly you are kindly requested to respond truthfully and clearly to each query raised by our reservation personnel, and to faithfully respect these rules so as to make the holiday comfortable and enjoyable.

 

Payment Arrangements

Your Confirmed Reservation will only be valid and fully secured once your deposit/ payment has been officially received ,banked without any  problems and you have received our confirmation voucher.  IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ONCE YOU RECEIVE OUR PAYMENT FORMS, YOU ACT IMMEDIATELY TO EFFECT PAYMENT WITHOUT DELAY SO THAT YOU AVOID LOOSING AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION

 

Deposits:

Normally when booking early or way in advance , a minimum deposit of 25%* is required after confirmation of availability  to secure the booking. Your Booking/reservation will not be deemed confirmed  until you receive our confirmed booking voucher by email or by fax. Should you have no fax or email please inform us of your mailing address and all possible means of contacting you..

Bookings within 45 days prior to arrival will require full payment to be sent immediately by credit card or by 'swift transfer’ .  Where a balance is applicable, such balance should is to be settled not later than 45 days prior to arrival. Failure to pay in time may lead to cancellation of your booking and cancellation policy shown below applies. The fastest way to pay and secure your booking is by credit card.

* Deposit may vary according to the period prior to booking and the gross cost of accommodation involved. You will be informed should a higher deposit % be required.

 

 b.    Methods of payment:

           1    By CREDIT CARD*.   We accept Mastercard or Visa card payments only.  Should you choose to pay by credit card , note that all Credit Card payments carry a 3 % transaction Charge added to the total amount payable.  

·         2.     By SWIFT TRANSFER , BANK DRAFT  , BANK WIRE TRANSFER sent directly to our bank account. Please send  us an email or fax for details. We shall indicate the correct Swift code and our Bank details. In case of making a swift transfer, please ask your bank to fax us a copy of the transaction to

     Fax no. 00356 21 386546 (N.B - This is mandatory) . It is important to effect the transaction within 24hrs as soon as you receive our payment details, in order to secure your Booking/Reservation in time.

          3. By CHEQUE Payments by cheque are only accepted when booking 3 months or more in advance.

 

 

Accommodation  Rules

1.       The Company and its Representatives or Employees do not accept any liability or legal responsibility in the event that the holiday/visit or any portion thereof is hampered or otherwise rendered difficult or disappointing  because of factors independent of their will, act or omission (such as due to weather conditions, fire, sickness, governmental or state-authority activities, new laws / regulations , Government regulations,, public feasts, manifestations or public or private works of any kind affecting the Hotel/property  occurring at the appointed holiday time in the vicinity …)

 

2.        However, every effort will be made to minimize any such nuisances at no extra charge if they do occur.  Furthermore, if, as a result of these or similar reasons or other "force majeur" or unlawful complaint you decide to abandon the Hotel/Property , the provision of alternative accommodation will not be the Company's responsibility or that of its Representatives / Employees.  No compensation can be claimed or given for any additional cost incurred, & neither will any refund of cost of accommodation, in whole or in part, be possible. Clients cutting short their stay at a hotel or other rented accommodation through no fault of the hotel will not be refunded.

 

3       If you have any special requests –(such as a baby-cot, a food-pack requirement or a  'wheelchair-friendly' room) – please inform us. We will try to meet such requests, however, we cannot guarantee them. In no circumstances will these requests be accepted as part of our obligation and we will not have any liability if they are not supplied for whatsoever reason.
 

4.01     It may be necessary, on some occasions, for certain facilities such as swimming pools and entertainment facilities to be withdrawn by the proprietor due to lack of demand, weather conditions, maintenance work or other circumstances regrettably outside our control and for which we are unable to accept liability.

 

4.02     .The Bookings are based for all purposes in NIGHTS.  The number of 'nights' stated in our price panel refers to the length of time your accommodation is booked for at your hotel. It is standard international practice that hotel guests are required to vacate their rooms before noon or otherwise as established by hotel. In other cases this rule also applies unless waived by arrangement with the hotel.

 

4.03     Breakfast is usually “Continental” or buffet, in the hotels on offer.

When you book a Holiday/Visit with us you accept responsibility for the proper conduct   of yourself and your party during the stay, whether in or out of the Hotel..

We reserve the right to terminate your holiday or that of any member of your party due to misconduct or unlawful behaviour.

If by your actions /omissions, or those of any member of your party, cause damage to the Accommodation or its immediate precincts, or cause delay or diversion to any flight or any other means of transportation, you agree to fully indemnify us against any claim, including legal costs, made against us.

Travel Insurance

We recommend that in planning your Holiday / Visit to Malta / Gozo, you arrange for a suitable Insurance cover this is something most useful for peace of mind and protection.  The Company, its Representatives or Agents, can not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any injuries, healthcare, or any kind of accident, whether minor or serious, whilst at the Hotel/property or outside of the Hotel/property during your stay

           Ideally your Insurance should provide cover for these requirements:
          * Personal Accident

          * Personal Third-Party liability
          * Delayed departure
          * Loss of deposit, cancellations and curtailment charges
          * Medical and emergency expenses;
          * Loss of baggage, money or any other personal belongings etc.

 

Changes of your booking
Any alteration by you  before of the original arrival day will be treated as cancellation of the original booking and will be  subject to the cancellation charges shown below. Whenever possible, at the sole discretion of the management
we may be able to waive the charges charged as cancellation fee (except the processing fee of 30Euro) depending on the time of your booking or type of change requested, however this is not guaranteed and when this fails, the cancellation policy below will apply

 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations & Refunds: Guests may cancel their bookings. When this happens we start to incur costs & losses from the time a booking is confirmed/cancelled & the closer it is to check-in /arrival date, the less likely it is to re-sell your accommodation. So if guests/customers cancel we will  make a charge & the later the cancellation the more that charge will be. Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Cancellation will be effective from the date it is received & acknowledged. If you decide to cancel or change your holiday or your visit for any reason, cancellation charges will apply. The time of cancellation shall be taken as the date written notice is received.Notification of Cancellations should be reported or sent in writing , signed and sent by fax to 00356 2138 6546.

 

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations received before 45 days prior to arrival/Check in  date, the charge is € 30 (Euro) processing fee plus any losses if any caused by fluctuations in the rate of exchange between the local currency and  the currency you have paid for the reservation.

 

Cancellations received between 44 to 15 days prior to arrival/check in date, charge is 3 nights as per your reservation/booking plus processing fee € 30 (Euro) plus any losses if any caused by fluctuations in the rate of exchange between the local currency and  the currency you have paid for the reservation.

 

Cancellations received between  14 days and less than 1 day prior to arrival/check in date the charge is 100%.

Late or Last minute bookings between 14days and less than 1 day prior to arrival must be settled in full. Cancellation charge of last minute bookings is 100%

If you have a complaint

We do our best to give you a successful and enjoyable holiday visit,  but even the best laid plans may sometimes go wrong. If you have a complaint while you are on holiday you must inform, on the same day, the hotel manager in writing stating the exact reason of your complaint. Your kind and friendly co-operation in such matters would enable us to assist you with advice or in other ways. Complaints have to be addressed to immediately with the hotel manager. Note that we cannot accept complaints that have been reported AFTER  your holiday has expired and have returned back home.

 

Confirmation of your booking - confirmed reservation Booking Voucher

       When you book a holiday or other travel arrangement through us, the binding Agreement between us takes effect when we send you a written 'confirmation-booking voucher' showing your booking details, place and dates and requesting payment of your booking by email/fax or post.

      Once the Agreement is thus made we undertake to provide the holiday or other accommodation described on our confirmation document, and you are responsible to us to pay for it.

        IIn each case subject to these terms and conditions. Please note that it is most important to carefully check that all your documentation and reservation details are correct when you receive them and that all details are as you requested

        UNFORESEEN CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING:  If after a booking is confirmed with the hotel, it transpires that the  hotel cannot honour the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, that are beyond our control, the hotel will first offer to provide you with alternative or similar or better accommodation . Kindly note that  we cannot be held responsible for such unforeseen circumstances  in the  accommodation you have booked and that no compensation may be claimed to us.

BY THE MERE FACT OF ISSUE OF A CONFIRMATION VOUCHER TO YOU, THE PARTIES UNDERTAKE TO ABIDE BY ALL the TERMS/ CONDITIONS OF BOOKING / RESERVATION,  AND TO BE BOUND BY THESE POLICIES AND  RULES
 

Limitations on Use of this Website.

As a condition of your use of this website, booking a reservation with us, or using any of the information, data or images from the website, you warrant and represent to us that you will not use this website or information, images or data on the website, for any illegal purpose, or for any purpose that is prohibited by this agreement, and you agree not to: modify, copy, distribute, transmit, publish, display, license, create derivative works from or sell any product, services, information or software obtained from this website.

Your Warranties to Us.

You warrant that you are at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this website in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this website as well as for the use of your name and credit card account to pay for products and services purchased at this website by members of your household, including minors living with you. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household in using this website is true and accurate.

Electronic Communications. You communicate with the Company electronically whenever you visit maltahotel.net or send emails to us.  You consent to receive communications from the Company electronically and by fax.  You agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements and other communications that we provide to you electronically or by fax satisfy any legal requirements that communications be in writing.
