Cornucopia Hotel Facilities

The bar and lounge area of the Cornucopia dates back over 300 years and the decor throughout the hotel is traditionally local, starting from the limestone walls to the arched restaurant with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout. The Cornucopia has two freshwater swimming pools, a whirlpool and a childrens’ pool which are all set amongst the gardens and terraces of this wonderful property.

Just opposite the hotel guests will find the Cornucopia Bungalows, which are a favourite for Maltese and tourists who travel regularly to Gozo. Split into two complexes each one with a pool, each bungalow has its own private terrace with beautiful views. This family run complex has featured twice on ITV's 'Wish You Were Here' and is an excellent place to stay for those who appreciate good service, fine food and a truly relaxing atmosphere.

Cornucopia Hotel Rooms

Rooms at the Cornucopia are finished in rustic style and are all air-conditioned and equipped with modern faclities.

20 Standard Rooms decorated with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. Rooms are available with either a twin or a double bed. Some of these rooms overlook the hotel pools while others have a side valley view. These rooms also have a balcony or terrace, en suite bathroom, fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating/ air conditioning.

14 Valley View Rooms decorated with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. Rooms are available with either a twin or a double bed. All the valley view rooms have a private balcony with views over the valley down to Marsalforn bay. The village of Zebbug and the Citadel in Victoria can also be seen. These rooms also have an en suite bathroom, fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating / air conditioning.

9 Triple Rooms are decorated with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. These rooms would consist of either one double and one single bed or three single beds, sleeping three persons. The triple rooms have a balcony with a side view to the valley. These rooms also have an en suite bathroom, fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans and individually controlled central heating / air- conditioning.

3 Family Rooms consisting of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The two bedrooms are linked by a small corridor. The décor of these rooms is similar to the other rooms with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. The master bedroom also has a private balcony. These rooms also have a fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans and individually controlled central heating/ air conditioning.

2 Junior Suites with a combined sitting room. These rooms have a double private balcony over the valley and a luxurious bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and also have a fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating/ air conditioning.

11 Self Catering Bungalows built in a rustic style to the highest specifications. Each designer finished bungalow has a sitting / dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.  Eight bungalows with two bedrooms and two bathrooms sleeping up to four persons, two bungalows with one double, one twin and one single bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to five persons and one bungalow with one double and two twin bedrooms and three bathrooms sleeping up to six people. The bungalows have easy access to the swimming pool, which is conveniently located, in the center of each complex. Facilities include hairdryers, cable television, direct dial telephone and individually controlled air conditioning/ central heating. Guests using these bungalows may avail themselves of all the facilities of the Cornucopia Hotel including use of swimming pools and a choice of either self-catering, bed & breakfast or half board. Maid service is also provided twice a week. Towels and bed linen are provided.
