►Location Description: To the north west of Malta is Bugibba, Qawra and St Paul’s Bay. Overlooking Salina Bay is Qawra (pronounced ‘Aw-rah’) and Bugibba (pronounced ‘Boojiba’). Both resorts have modern pedestrian centres with shops, bars and restaurants designed to cater for the many visitors from many different countries.

St Paul’s Bay has a monumental place in Maltese history. It was here that the Apostle Paul and St Luke were washed ashore following their shipwreck in AD60, bringing Christianity to Malta. Despite its historic significance, the quaint fishing village of St Paul’s Bay has remained remarkably unaffected by tourism.

Bugibba is the busiest beach resort in Malta - it is buzzing both during the day and at night! Life in this exciting town is centred around Bugibba square, with its thriving bars, take-aways, restaurants and a casino. A brand new cinema complex is found just up the road, and the area is full of hotels.
