Our Club Rooms are the most recently furnished of our rooms with superior décor, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-bar.
 

I have just come back from a 2 week stay at the Metropole. I must admit that the Hotel is not situated where I thought it was - near Sliema Harbour. The Hotel is situated just off the promenade away from the hustle and bustle of the Harbour itself, with plenty of pretty bars, cafes and restaurants in close proximity. The Hotel was clean and the Hotel staff pretty friendly and helpful - maid service was daily, and I must say that although after 2 weeks of toast and sugar puffs for breakfast, I could not fault the evening meals, in quality, quantity, variety or presentation. The Splash Pool was as described, a splash-pool - there was always adequate sun-loungers, etc.. in the ample sun terrace. The poolside bar did a very good selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks, as well as burgers and snacks. The evening entertainment was almost every night, and again varied. All in all a very nice Hotel, with lovely food and lovely staff, lots to do in the local area - I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed twice at this Hotel, once in August and once in November, so yes a returner!! The Hotel is very clean and the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are very average, but okay. The evening meals far better. I was pleasantly surprised by the roof top splash pool and there is plenty of room to enjoy sitting in the sun, though don't expect a real scenic view as the Hotel is in a residential area. I had a twin inside room during my first stay, which was okay and served its purpose. My second stay I had an inside single room which was very small and was cramped. I would stay again at the Hotel but would request a twin room for sole use as I would prefer to pay the extra to get reasonable space. Air Conditioning is in the Hotel which is very much needed during the Summer months! All in all the package tours with this Hotel, I travelled with 'Sunset' are very reasonable. I like the part of Sliema that it is located in, though quiet, it is very close to St. Julians and once can walk there in 15 mins. and if you like the hustle and bustle of the town then that is only a 20 mins walk away or just a quick bus ride away.
