Santana Hotel Bars and Restaurants - Qawra

Main Restaurant
Elegant and yet informal, The Moiré, which is the main Hotel restaurant, offers a seating capacity of approximately 300 persons. This restaurant was recently refurbished with the primary aim of creating a more intimate atmosphere. For this purpose seating booths have been set up, as well as a central partitions offering guests privacy and intimacy. The restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a totally non smoking restaurant, and for this purpose a smokers' lounge has been positioned just outside the restaurant. A dress code is enforced during dinner times.

Meals in this restaurant are Buffet style offering a tempting variety of quality regional fare, which would impress even the most discerning clients. Buffets have recently been extended, to cater for a wider selection offered to our clients.

The hot and cold buffet breakfast, apart from a vast array of dishes also includes a wide variety of diet products for the more health conscious. For dinner, the buffet service offers a variety of themed cuisine, which includes a number of vegetarian options and carvery on most evenings.

A must for any family is our Sunday Carvery lunches, which are very reasonably priced to suit family budgets.

Our kitchen brigade led by Head Chef Simon Borg would be more then pleased to cater for any specific dietary requests made by our clients. The Moiré restaurant service team, led by Food and Beverage Manager Anthony Cuschieri, will ensure that our clients will have the best possible dining experience.

 

 



Trattoria - Pizzeria
For those prefering a more relaxed and personalised service, LA MENTHA trattoria, which is open daily from 19:00hrs, is an alternative dining facility to all our hotel guests. Traditional unique Maltese food is served in this restaurant, emphasising the quality yet simplistic style of Mediterranean Cuisine. Apart from the Chef's daily specialities, our menu varies to every taste from Deep Pan Pizzas to wholesome Clean Blue Seas breezed Maltese Food.

LA MENTHA, which is very popular with our local clientele, is the ideal venue for families or group of friends, out to have a good time without digging deep inside one's pocket, discount schemes for our clients and our loyal customers are available in this outlet.



 


 
Algadon 24 Hour Internet Cafeteria
This outlet is an informal yet smart and comfortable facility. The cafeteria which is open on a 24 hour basis offers Internet facilities, alongside some other pastime electronic devices.

Being ideally located adjacent to the reception lobby, the cafeteria offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, snacks, ice-cream and scrumptious pastries most of which are freshly baked in the outlet itself.

Without a doubt this outlet is an optimal meeting place for a coffee with friends, while sitting in one of the outlet's terraces seeing the world go by or even checking out your e-mail messages.



 


Lacey's Pub
Certainly a drinking hole with a difference!!

The Lacey's Pub features a maritime theme, with an antique 13 metre long rowing boat adorning the ceiling. As one would expect the pub offers a wide range of local and foreign beer mostly on draught, a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, a variety of free bar snacks and a choice of pub food. The pub hosts regular live entertainment and is equipped with a big screen, featuring a number of popular events.


 


Pool Bar
This outlet is an ideal location for catching up with your holiday sun tan, while enjoying those panoramic sea and country views in a mini roof garden atmosphere.

A bar and restaurant can also be found in this area from where our personnel will ensure that you will get plenty of drink to combat your dehydration while you are relaxing under the hot Mediterranean sun.

Barbecue lunches, serving an array of freshly grilled meats, fresh fish and freshly prepared salads are also available during the day.

To help you capture those magical holiday moments ,the main pool terraces, on various nights, also serve as a venue for evening dining out with the stars, where fireworks from the surrounding village festas act as a backdrop, and our entertainers will serenade you during your evening.
